Annex Renovation This house was suffering from a poor connection to the exterior. To make a better link to the rear yard, the back of the house was cut open with large sliding doors to let light flood the ground floor in all seasons. Further windows and a skylight were added to turn a previously dark space into the now affectionately named 'sunroom'. Outside of the sunroom, the existing deck was expanded to allow for outdoor lounge and dining space. The rear yard was then completely overhauled, with wild planting beds and flowing natural paths. The very back of the property is currently undergoing a phase II renovation, introducing a limestone sports court. The interior of the house has received a mix of modern intervention and traditional detailing and millwork.
